How you can make a donation

The Baccalieu Trail SPCA and Baccalieu Trail SPCA Shelter Fund are mainly funded through donations and the proceeds from fundraising events. We are a registered charity, so all donations are tax-deductible. There are several ways to make a donation:

Monetary donation

Send an email money transfer (EMT) to info@baccalieutrailspca.net. Please email us with your mailing address (for your receipt).

You can mail us a donation at P.O. Box 273, Carbonear, NL A1Y 1B7. Please include a return address for your receipt.

You may also donate through Canada Helps. They will email you your receipt.

Wish List

There is always a need for garbage bags, recycling bags, paper towels, cleaners, regular Dawn dish liquid, laundry detergent as well as clumping and non-clumping litter.

These can be dropped off at the shelter Monday to Friday from 1-4 pm. Anything that we do not have to purchase, means more money for the animals' vet care.

Our Thrift Store

Our Thrift store accepts new or gently used items that you no longer want or use. We are open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm (closed Mondays).

We have a new location at 258 Conception Bay Highway in Bay Roberts (across from Wingn' It and behind Intact Insurance).

Recycling

When you drop off your recycling at the Green Depot in Carbonear, Blaketown or Bay Roberts, you can donate the proceeds to us by labelling your bags with our name and phone number (596 7722).

Donating to Fundraisers

We rely on fundraisers to care for the animals in our care. These fundraisers help us provide for the animals in our care. Do you have new items you don't need or gift cards you won't use? Please consider donating them to us to use at Good Bingos, Auctions and so on. Items can be dropped off at the Thrift Store or Shelter marked as Fundraisers.
